a video on the Pharmacy Department at ACH.
The Pharmacy Department at ACH works as part of Team ACH providing high quality
health care to the children of Arkansas. Our 60 plus member department strives
to be on the leading-edge of therapy and that means our pharmacists and technicians
are called upon to acquire and utilize new information daily. We screen all
medication orders either on the unit or in the pharmacy to ensure quality and
identify potential problems with dosage, drug therapy regimens and drug interactions.
Our interventions are a valued part of the ACH patient safety program. ACH is
the Pediatric teaching arm of the University of Arkansas Medical System. Being
a teaching hospital means ACH is dedicated to furthering the education of all
team members. Consider being a part of our team as we participate in changing
children’s lives.
Specialty Areas
Our pharmacy team members experience many exciting practice opportunities. We
invite you to consider launching or continuing a pharmacy career in the following
areas of our hospital:

How does Team ACH work? Pharmacists work directly with pharmacy technicians
